Flowers for an 18th birthday party lunch.
Lucie wanted a combination of purple / pink flowers and loved the idea of spring flowers in jars, so I created them for her. The larger one was used on the top table and two others on each of the other tables and they looked great once in the venue. The venue was The Broadway in Letchworth and she loved them…
Jam Jars are a great way to create lovely table centres using flowers that are in season, and you can create the just picked from the garden look that is still very much requested these days. Adding foliage gives them depth and helps to ‘bulk’ them out too, so you don’t have to spend a fortune on creating this look, especially as mentioned earlier, if you use flowers in season.
For weddings they look great placed on wooden planks and the ribbon around the jar co-ordinates with your theme, so vintage, country or classic can all be achieved.
